How to Add a Custom Intro and Outro to Your Twitch Highlight Reels (Without Editing)

Stop re-opening your video editor just to add your intro. ViddyFlow automatically prepends and appends your branded clips to every highlight reel it generates.

If you post highlight reels to YouTube regularly, you already know the drill: the AI generates the reel, you open your editor, drag in your intro, drag in your outro, re-export. It adds 10 to 20 minutes to what should be a 2-minute workflow. ViddyFlow now handles this automatically.

What the Feature Does

On Pro and Studio plans, you can upload a custom intro video clip and a custom outro video clip in your ViddyFlow Branding settings. From that point on, every highlight reel ViddyFlow generates from your VODs will automatically include your intro at the start and your outro at the end — no manual editing required.

This applies to the compiled highlight reel only. The individual vertical shorts (TikTok/Reels/Shorts clips) are not affected.

How to Set It Up

  1. Log into ViddyFlow and go to your Branding settings
  2. Upload your intro clip and your outro clip (MP4 recommended)
  3. Save the branding preset
  4. When submitting a new job, select the preset from the branding selector
  5. Your downloaded highlight reel will include the intro and outro already attached

Studio Plan: Multiple Presets

Studio plan users can save up to 3 branding presets. This is useful if you run more than one channel, stream multiple games with different themes, or manage content for more than one creator. You choose which preset to apply when you submit each job.

Why It Matters for Consistency

Consistent intros train your audience. Viewers who watch multiple reels from your channel start to associate the opening sequence with your content — before they even see the highlights. Over time, this accelerates recognition and watch-through rates on YouTube, where the algorithm uses both click-through and watch time as ranking signals.

For streamers posting reels 3 to 5 times per week, automating this step saves hours every month. The reel comes out of ViddyFlow ready to upload, not ready to edit.
